Sanitary Sewer Overflow

Date: May 8, 2026

The Town is notifying residents and visitors that a sanitary sewer overflow occurred on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, resulting in a discharge exceeding 5,000 gallons. The overflow entered the Saluda River.

 Water quality sampling is being conducted over the next several days to monitor E. coli levels in the affected area of the river.
