Ware Shoals staff responds to written complaint generated violations of the Township's Codified Ordinances. If you are concerned about a situation you think may be a code violation then please complete the form below.

When a complaint is received, the following steps occur:

1. The Code Enforcement Agent visits the property to verify the information and usually photographs the violation. 

2. If a violation is found, a letter is sent to the property owner stating the violation and specifying how long they have to remedy the violation. Depending on the severity of the violation, the notice may be sent via certified mail. 

3. If action is not taken to remedy the violation within the specified time, a citation is issued.
